The SOM-AM335x-PM Core Board Basic Edition Assessment Kit (Model: SBC-PH8700, hereinafter referred to as SBC-PH8700) consists of SOM-AM335x-PM Core Board and BB-SPH1800 Base Assessment Base Panel/Carrier Panel. It is a TI-based computer platform for highly efficient embedded processing of AM335X (ARM Cortex A8).It is the most commonly used AM3358 processor (1GHZ), 512MB DDR3L, 4KB EEPROM and 4 GB EMMC core system in the onboard industry, providing high performance and high energy efficiency.With a compact body size design, there are rich interfaces (gigabit network interface, USB interface, LCD interface, camera interface, HDMI interface, Micro SD card, RS232 interface, CAN interface, RS485 interface).In addition, rich signal interfaces such as I2S, UART, MMC, Gigabit network can also be derived through the on-board 40PIN double-row pin interface, which provides high-quality solutions for industrial control, medical equipment, experimental instruments and other application scenarios.SBC-PH8700 is a compact version of the development board, which reduces costs for customers, shortens development time and enables products to enter the market faster.The details of the core board can be referred to SOM-AM335x-PM.

Introduction to bb-sph1800 basic evaluation base plate:

Bb-sph1800 is a simplified version of Intel’s som-ph8700 / ph8800 application board. The whole system is oriented to medical instruments, video surveillance, industrial control, communication and other fields, and is based on Ti am335x / am437x series SOC. In the compact design, bb-sph1800 provides abundant peripheral interface resources for som-ph8700 / ph8800 (gigabit network interface, USB interface, LCD interface, camera interface, HDMI interface, micro SD card, RS232 interface, can interface, RS485 interface). In addition, I2C, I2S, UART, MMC, Gigabit Ethernet and other interfaces are also introduced through the on-board 40pin double row pin.
